Description:

Model KSD9700Bimetal Thermal Protector is composed of high sensitive disk-shaped bimetallic element,moveable contact,static contact plate, fixed baseplate, moveable spring plate, case and temperature resistance lead wire.The bimetallic strip is fixed on the baseplate, which can maintain the consistency of disconnection and reset temperature after long-term use. Its main working principle is to control the temperature by opening or closing the bi-metal strip. It stays at normally closed/normally open status, it opens/closes when temeprature rising and closes/opens when temperature decreasing.It protects the device overheating and burning out. At normal temperature, the moveable contact and the static contact are in the closed state, the circuit is on.When the use of electrical failure, the temperature rise to the rated disconnect temperature value of the product, the bimetal element heat produced internal stress rapid action, it push the contact and cut off the power supply, then the electrical appliances stop working, so as to play a protective role.When the temperature of the protected appliance drops to the safe temperature, switch on the power again and the appliance resumes working.
